Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
The total cost for goods ordered that is payable by the customer, including VAT (at 20%) delivery charges and any other costs in £ Sterling, is displayed in full BEFORE the customer confirms their order. This is to ensure that the customer is clear about the total chargeable amount before making the decision to place the order. The payment amount will be debited from or credited to the card immediately. This does not affect the customers' right to return goods under our returns policy. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax or over the Internet.
All prices are payable in £Sterling unless otherwise agreed in writing by Celtic Art Ltd.
All prices are subject to VAT (20 %) and may change without notice when precious metal prices fluctuate. Celtic Art Ltd reserve the right to alter the price of the Goods and orders will be invoiced at the prices current at the date of dispatch.
Any illustration of a product or description of size, dimension, style, weight etc. is given in good faith, however cannot be guaranteed as absolutely correct.
Shipping And Handling
Standard UK Delivery is free on web orders.
Charges should they apply will be calculated depending on delivery area.
Orders will be sent via Royal mail or courier.
All Celtic Art products are made to order in our Glasgow workshop and delivery times may therefore vary.
Please allow up to 14 days for UK delivery. International delivery may take longer.
If you require your item sooner please advise us of this when you place your order.
As everything is made to order, delivery times depend on the materials used and the delivery destination.
Celtic Art Ltd cannot accept liability for any loss resulting from late delivery or non-delivery of goods.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties
We guarantee your satisfaction. All our products are made to a very high standard and are thoroughly inspected prior to dispatch, therefore we are confident you will find no cause for complaint. However, if any item is found to be faulty through manufacture we will refund or replace the item if the purchaser notifies us within a reasonable amount of time of receiving the faulty item. The sender must obtain a proof of posting certificate.
These goods remain the property of Celtic Art Ltd until such time as they are paid for. The risk in the goods shall pass to the Buyer on delivery but the ownership of the goods shall remain with Celtic Art Ltd until full payment has been received from the Buyer (each order being considered as a whole).
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option.
Celtic Art Ltd does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties. Any information you give to us is held with the utmost care and security and WILL NOT be used in ways to which you have not consented.
When you order from us we need to know your name, address, contact details and credit or debit card details. We require this information about you solely in order to process your order/enquiry. We do not use this information for marketing purposes either by ourselves or by passing your details to any other party. Should we need to contact you regarding your order, we will use the contact details you have provided.

According to the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 (distance selling) you are entitled to return any goods that are unwanted, or should you change your mind, within 30 days of receipt. The goods must be returned to us in the condition they were received. You may be liable for the costs of the return postage but all other monies shall be returned to you within 30 days.
Transit damaged goods must be reported by email or telephone within 30 working days of delivery and must be signed for as received in a damaged condition. Celtic Art Ltd will then arrange for uplift of the damaged goods (UK Mainland only). Customer's outwith the UK Mainland should return the goods along with the original packaging within 30 working days of receipt and must obtain a proof of posting certificate. The customer is entitled to either a full refund or replacement.
Items delivered broken or faulty must be returned to us within 30 days accompanied by full details of the order date and invoice number.
Items considered to have been mistreated or damaged through wear and tear cannot be replaced or credited. The issuing of replacements and credit notes is at Celtic Art Ltd's discretion.
Refunds or replacements will only be dispatched once the original returned goods have been received by Celtic Art Ltd. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Celtic Art Ltd. Are committed to dealing with customer complaints quickly to the satisfaction of all concerned. We will endeavor to respond to any complaints received by email, fax or telephone within 3 working days. If the issue is not resolved to the satisfaction of the customer, the customer may then put the complaint in writing to Mrs J Robson, Managing Director of Celtic Art Ltd. And expect a satisfactory response within 5 working days. It is always in our interests to ensure that the customer is entirely happy with the service received and we welcome all feedback and will always do our utmost to fully resolve any issues raised.
Exclusions and Indemnities
The buyer shall indemnify the Sellers against and shall not be entitled to pursue against the sellers any claim by the buyer or by a third party against the sellers for injury, loss or damage to any person or property which was caused directly or indirectly by the use, operation, design or possession of the goods or any part of the goods by the buyer. This indemnity shall cover all claims and losses of the Buyer and shall continue in force notwithstanding the termination or performance of the contract.
The seller owns all copyright and trademarks relating to their products as shown in but not restricted to their catalogues, brochures, website, samples and other printed materials. No copying or reproduction of designs is permitted under any circumstances.
Cheques are made payable to: Celtic Art Ltd.
For new customers paying by cheque, goods will be dispatched on receipt of payment and 30 day Credit Account Application Forms will accompany the first order. For Account Customers, failure to settle within 30 days may result in following orders reverting to payment in advance.
Orders of £400 (excluding VAT) and over are carriage paid (UK Mainland only). Orders under £400, and International Carriage are charged at cost.
Celtic Art Ltd is unable to offer sale or return arrangements.
